One thing that will always be “in” with fashion is being green. And I’m not talking about reusing your Poland Spring water bottle either. Aside from making your own clothes, the easiest way to save money and still look fierce is to shop vintage. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably thinking you’d have to be nuts to go and buy someone else’s old clothes! Honestly, that’s where you find the most interesting pieces. Wearing vintage clothing gives you a certain amount of exclusiveness — you just can’t find those clothes anywhere. A friend of mine bought a beautiful Christian Dior wool coat for 10 bucks at a Salvation Army. If she bought a similarly styled Christian Dior coat in stores she would be set back more than a few hundred dollars. Vintage stores offer a sea of possibilities at pocket friendly prices. Fashion always comes back around again, give it a shot! Check out vintage shops and your local Salvation Army to enhance your wardrobe or donate your old clothes to make room in your closet for new items!
