Fortunately, a coffee has some surprising health benefits that will make you feel a lot less guilty about your favorite morning indulgence.
Studies show that 200 milligrams of caffeine (about the amount in 16 ounces of brewed coffee) provides relief from headaches, and keeps you going through a long work day. Also, drinking between 1 and 5 cups a day may help reduce the risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, as well as Parkinson’s disease, and liver cancer risk by 43%. Additionally, we all know how important antioxidants in your diet are, but I bet you didn’t know that coffee has more antioxidants per serving than blueberries, making it the biggest source of antioxidants in American diets.
