Smudging your makeup is a woman’s worst nightmare. That may be a little dramatic, but I think we can all agree that it is something most of us just don’t like dealing with. After a long day of squinting, sneezing, watery eyes and even blinking, your makeup can look like a complete mess. Thank goodness there’s a way to get rid of those raccoon eyes. Investing in quality makeup is definitely a start to eliminating your problems, but sometimes it’s not enough. Using a facial moisturizer keeps yours skin looking soft and fresh, but make sure you avoid applying the product to your eyes. What also helps a great deal is using eyeshadow primer; it helps to keep the skin around your eyes moisturized without making it oily. I also like to use liquid eyeliner instead of a pencil to reduce smudging. Let the liner dry completely before you blink to avoid any mess that could come of it. Also, waterproof mascara and eyeliner are especially helpful in getting rid of any problems you might have of smudging your makeup, just make sure that you also invest in some eye-makeup remover because sometimes it’s so stubborn to come off.
